Those accepted to be a Fashion Ex-Change fellow will participate in the prestigious International Forum of Cotton Textiles and Accessories, hosted by the African Chamber of Trade and Commerce from July 9-12, 2024. This esteemed event not only serves as a testament to the vibrancy and resilience of the African textile industry but also offers invaluable networking opportunities with industry leaders, designers, and artisans from across the continent and beyond. Upon acceptance into the program and following deposit, participants will be thrust into a series of information sessions leading up to the trip. The program lead (Dr. Duchamp) will assist with travel preparations, available to answer any questions you might have. He is happy to meet with students, advisors, and parents as needed.
