The principal challenges in my view are; lack of self belief by Africans, always second guessing themselves, and lack of financial autonomy. How we transform our natural resources into functional capital is crucial for the upcoming generation of Africans. Indebtedness is very huge and scary to encourage business risks on local investments. Our development partner institutions, the establishment and foreign investors understand the virginity of Africa but act as if Africa offers no consistency in her collateral content so we have to step up the game and be fair in the discourse.

We cannot be poor when we have millions of arable farmland and affordable human capital and a huge consumer market potential.

Somebody must be messing with the figures and facts so I urge African experts and governments on the need to face the issues through driving agricultural 4.o industrial approach.
